The Beats and Bass Society are Exeter University's premier dance music and dj organisation. Founded by a small group of like minded DJs, Mcs and music enthusiasts from Exeter University. Beats & Bass has grown rapidly, acheiving profile and popularity unrivalled by previous similar university societies. Beats and Bass is dedicated to delivering you the finest that Exeter has to offer in terms of Drum & Bass, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Hip Hop, Garage and all other genres of dance music. We are also committed to giving 'up and coming' artists the chance to perform, appear on radio shows, and have their interests represented.

So, whether you want to be up on stage or just having a rave, this is the society for you!

ARTS WEEK Beats & Bass @ The Cavern - Weds 11th Feb           

Well its arts week again! We're teaming up with Lofi-Hifi for a special weds mash-up, including garage/dubstep from Rob Foxx with LIVE PERCUSSION from London boy Lil' Dom.

Lofi will be kicking off the evening - be sure to get down before 11 to catch some indie and electro and whatever other crazy shit they dig up then hip hop and breaks from Ben Adams, garage and dubstep mashup with live percussion from Rob Foxx and Lil' Dom, finishing off the night with dnb from Tricks.

EVERYBODY WINS.

And are we going to whack up the price? NO!

It is still FREE BEFORE 10! and from then on it's the entirely reasonable price of
£2 for members and £4 for non-members.

Our First Social @ City Gate Hotel!!          

Hello!!

We're holding our first social of the year this Wednesday!

It's at the City Gate Hotel/Bar in the really nice little cellar bar, starting at 8pm.

The socials are a chance for everyone to have a chat and meet people without having to shout over very loud noise :) (we'll still have music in the background, just not crazy-loud)

IMPORTANT: This social will be your chance to sign up for stash (both hoodies and tees) and the free DJ-ing workshops.

Also, if you haven't signed up to Beats and Bass yet, it's £5 for the year, and we now have more membership cards, so come down and we can sort you out with one

Absolutely ANYONE is welcome, if you're undecided, please don't feel intimidated; we want to meet all you lovely people that make our nights so great, so come along!
